The Flexible Spending Account program allows you to:
- Before tax contributions (reducing your taxable income)
- Receive tax-free reimbursement on eligible out-of-pocket healthcare expenses and daycare expenses
Two Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options:
Health Flexible Spending Account (Health FSA)
- 2024 maximum annual election - $3,200
- $50 to $640 in unused funds may be rolled over to the following year
Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (Dependent Care FSA)
- Pay for dependent care costs like daycare, summer camp, and adult dependent care
- Maximum annual election is $5,000 per household
- Does not roll over at the end of the year
