Welcome to Wiley H. Bates Middle School. The teachers, school counselors, support staff, and administrators are all here to assist you with your education. The information in this guide has been prepared to help you succeed at Wiley H. Bates Middle School.  

Wiley H. Bates Middle School is an Integrated Arts Community.  Arts Integration is an approach to teaching in which students construct and demonstrate understanding through art form.  Students engage in the creative process which connects an art form and another subject area and meets evolving objectives in both.

In addition, all students are required to follow the AACPS Student Code of Conduct in order to ensure a safe and orderly learning environment for all students!
