School Counseling Program

The mission of the Deale Elementary School Comprehensive School Counseling Program is to ensure that every student will acquire competencies needed in academics, career, personal and social development to reach their greatest potential in the preparation for lifelong learning in a changing world.

Classroom Guidance: monthly classroom guidance lessons on a variety of topics such as friendship, cooperation, careers, bullying, goal setting, and academic success

Group Counseling: small groups of students receive support to develop and strengthen social and academic skills

Individual Counseling: short term counseling for individuals experiencing issues that impact academic success

Collaboration: partnership with teachers, staff, parents, and the community to best support our students
