PTO

Hello and welcome to West Meade Early Education Center from the friendly Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). The PTO offers an invaluable link between students, school staff, teachers, and families. Our goal is to support the education of our children. We work hard to coordinate fundraisers and fun activities for students. Due to the unique nature of WMEEC, being a Pre-K (3's), Pre-K (4's), and Kindergarten only school, we have a very quick turnover rate. This means that we are always in need of new smiling faces to fill board member positions and volunteers to help out with various activities.
We believe parent PTO involvement is vital to the success of our school; moreover, PTO contributions help to defray the cost of field trips for admission & transportation fees, materials for classrooms, school wide celebrations, teacher disbursements (to help cover the cost of school supplies per teacher), and Cultural Arts Shows. We encourage and invite you to join in our efforts to advocate for our children. When you join the PTO, you get a vote in an organization where you can voice your concerns, and work with others towards common goals. It also shows an interest in your child’s education and school activities, shows greater support for teachers, and improves the relationship between parents and school personnel.
