The cost of participating in ECAP is the responsibility of AACPS for eligible AACPS students, as defined by the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future. Eligible AACPS-affiliated home instruction students or students that attend a partnering private school can take classes at a 25% discount provided through AACC. Visit https://www.aacc.edu/ecap for additional information.
Eligible AACPS Students who submit an approved ECAP form to AACC receive the following benefits paid by AACPS:
- AACC tuition for AACPS-approved courses that are aligned to certificate programs related to a school’s Signature theme.
- Student fees.
- Required books, supplies and materials that are necessary to complete a course.
Students who are not eligible under Maryland law through the Blueprint for Maryland's Future may still be eligible for Financial Assistance.
- AACPS students who are eligible for Free and Reduced Meals (FARMs) may qualify to have AACC tuition paid by AACPS for district approved credit-bearing or non-credit courses.
- Registration, lab, parking, activity and other miscellaneous fees are the responsibility of the parent/guardian or eligible student.
- All fees must be paid to AACC at the time of registration.
