    • Maryland Coalition of Families: MCF offers two family leadership development opportunities each year - the Family Leadership Institute and the Family Leadership Retreat.     • Camp Inclusion is a summer day camp for any student with or without a cognitive, social, or physical disability. Click Camp Inclusion for more information. 

     

    • Judy Center Early Learning The Judith P. Hoyer Center Early Learning Hubs, also known as “Judy Centers,” benefit everyone in Maryland by improving the quality of life for families. Through a dedicated staff of early learning professionals, they help prepare children age birth through kindergarten for school readiness.     • MANSEF Parent Resource Center: The Maryland Association of Nonpublic Special Education Facilities (MANSEF) is a not-for-profit organization of 70 nonpublic special education facilities approved by the Maryland State Department of Education. These schools, throughout Maryland, promote quality services for children and youth with disabilities. They serve more than 3,000 students between the ages of 3 and 21. 

     

    • Rise for Autism: Our Mission is to provide community and professional awareness, family support and resources, financial assistance, RISE strives to "bridge the gap" in services and opportunities for those with Autism.

     

    • Parents' Place of Maryland: PPMD's mission is to empower families as advocates and partners in improving education and health outcomes for children with disabilities and special healthcare needs with a commitment to diversity and equity. 

     

     

    • MSDE Family Support Services: The MSDE Family Support Section of the Family Support and Dispute Resolution Branch, facilitates informal dispute resolution by responding to parent inquiries, assisting parents with navigating Maryland's early intervention and special education systems, and connecting parents with school system resources and personnel who can assist with concerns. 

     

    • The ARC Central Chesapeake Region: We advocate for equity and access for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live self-determined lives and foster opportunities towards self-sufficiency. 

     

    • Pathfinders for Autism: Established in 2000 by parents of children with autism, Pathfinders for Autism has since grown into Maryland’s largest autism organization. Pathfinders for Autism works to support and improve the lives of individuals affected by autism through expansive, customized programming, and by providing resources, training, information and activities free of charge. 

     

    • Anne Arundel County Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee (AA-SECAC)

      AA-SECAC is a partnership between parents, families, community leaders, advocates, educators and administrators. The committee works to enhance services available to students with disabilities and to advocate for positive changes in special education in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools.

      Active, involved parents and supporters of children receiving special education services comprise the Anne Arundel Special Education Citizens' Advisory Committee.
