• Anne Arundel County Public Schools is using a remote process to enroll students for the 2023-2024 school year for grades K-12. Complete enrollment information can be found at the AACPS Enrollment page.

    The following documents are required for enrollment and will need to be uploaded using the Online Student Enrollment Portal:

    Child’s documents:

    • Birth certificate
    • Immunization record (Check immunization requirements at
    • Recent report card, transcript and/or previous school's name, address and phone number

    Parent’s documents

    • Government-issued photo ID
    • Primary proof of residency: mortgage, deed, or lease
    • Secondary proof of residency: utility bill, bank statement, or paystub from the last 60 days
    • Custody Order (if applicable)

      Hint: Be sure to have your documents saved and ready in PDF or JPEG format before you enter the portal. The system cannot accept incomplete registrations and you’ll have to re-enter all data fields if you try to complete it at a later time.





    Enrollment is on a first-come first-served basis according to the child's category. Public school prekindergarten programs in Maryland must serve children from economically disadvantaged or homeless families. If seats remain after all economically disadvantaged children have been enrolled, the system may enroll children who have other school readiness needs.
