STEM MIDDLE SCHOOL - STEM FIELD EXPERIENCES
STEM students engage in multiple STEM Field Experiences to gain an authentic opportunity that fosters critical thinking and collaboration. STEM Field Experiences teach students about different STEM careers, sparking their curiosity about their future. Field Experiences support STEM Pathways from Environmental Science, BioMedical Technology, to Computer Science and Mathematics.
Central Middle STEM 7 students will unlock the secrets behind STEM careers and skills from their visits to places such as the USA Science & Engineering Festival USA SciFest All Access to the NSA Cryptologic Museum NSA Cryptologic Museum. STEM 7 students develop and refine STEM skills from experts in the field through investigation and play in NSA Math Workshops.
Students in 7th grade STEM learn about potential and kinetic energy as well as balanced and unbalanced forces through hands-on activities at the Maryland Science Center in Baltimore, MD.
