    SCHOOL HOURS

    Summer Office Hours are currently Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-4:00pm.

     

    2024-2025 school supplies will again be purchased by AACPS. Please be sure your child has a backpack, lunch box (if they choose) and items to help facilitate homework such as pencils, crayons, colored pencils.

    Security Cameras

    Jacobsville Elementary School is equipped with a video camera system. It covers selected interior and exterior public portions of the building and grounds. It is NOT monitored constantly, but it is monitored during emergency situations. During certain events, when the safety or security of students may be in question, authorized personnel from local, state, or federal police or fire emergency units may be given access to view images projected on the camera system. If you have any questions about the system, you should call the Supervisor of School Security at 410-222-5083.

Announcements

  • Please join CBMS for the Incoming 6th Grade Orientation on Monday, August 19, 2024. Please choose one session to attend.

    10:00 am-11:00am or 1:00pm-2:00pm

    During orientation, incoming 6th graders and their families will have the opportunity to:

    • Become familiar with Chesapeake Bay Middle School
    • Meet our principal, administrative team and school counselors
    • Receive a copy of their schedule and a school map
    • Walk around our school and visit their classrooms (staff members and student helpers will be available to assist in the hallways)

    *If possible, we ask that families limit the number of attendees they bring to this event. This will allow for less crowded hallways and make it easier for students to navigate the building, find their classrooms and become familiar with their new school. Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to seeing you!

    All visitors to Jacobsville are required to check in the office, show proper photo ID, and obtain a visitor's sticker before continuing into the building.
