THE WORK OF OUR STRATEGIC PLAN 2018-2023

Four Seasons Elementary School

  • When each school began to plan their important work based on AACPS’s 2018-2023 Strategic Plan during the spring of 2018, school teams reflected on their school culture, their community, and the key factors contributing to student achievement.  Each school was then asked to consider which Strategic Plan Indicators would have the greatest positive impact for their students. School leadership teams selected indicators and developed plans to focus and guide their efforts.  Please come with us on our journey as we describe why, what, and how we do our work to serve our students and families of our school.

Four Seasons Elementary's School Story

  • Four Seasons Elementary, located in the community of Gambrills, MD,  provides half-day programs in Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) and Pre-Kindergarten.  Additionally, we service Kindergarten through Fifth Grade, with a diverse student population totaling almost 700 students.  Our community includes families that live in Gambrills and Odenton (Piney Orchard area).  Our story begins with our mission to foster a life-long love of learning in a safe and orderly environment with excellent teachers facilitating students' active learning. This story extends to our vision of Making Magic Happen for ALL: to be an exceptional school where teachers want to teach, students want to learn, and parents want to be involved.

We are committed to making our school a positive experience for all.  We aspire to live by Walt Disney’s words of wisdom: “Whatever you do, do it well. Do it so well that when people see you do it, they will want to come back and see you do it again, and they will want to bring others and show them how well you do what you do.”  Our expectations are high and we seek to fulfill our promise of moving every child to reach their academic potential. Our dedicated teachers cultivate a vibrant learning environment and provide all students with access to opportunities and experiences that prepare them for college, career, and community.  Students engage in thoughtfully planned, standards-based lessons and strive to grow and learn. Our students look forward to coming to school every day to a MAGICAL and safe environment.  Additionally, we have clubs: 24 club, Spanish club, Speed Stacks, Chorus, Band, Strings, and Steel Drums! We are so proud of our standards-based instruction and our students extracurricular activities.
