Computer Science education is essential in today's modern, digital society; it is part of everything we do! Knowledge of computer science enables our students to solve complex, challenging problems, and to make a positive difference in the world. Computer offers flexible college and career pathways, from two-year programs to bachelor's and master's programs, and even apprenticeship programs. Knowledge in computer helps in every career field and is an essential component of a well-rounded 21st century education.
It is the vision of AACPS Computer Science to offer introductory and advanced instruction in topics including networking, global impact of digital technology, algorithms and abstration, cybersecurity, web development, data science, discrete mathematics, and software development.
