2021-2022 School Year - Moving Forward

  • 21-22 Moving Forward

Welcome back to the 2021-2022 school year. We know that it will be an amazing year for students! This will be the first time in almost 18 months that we will have the whole AACPS school family back together again for in-person instruction.  Based on public feedback from our Listening Tour in the spring of 2021, the work of our many planning committees, educational best-practices noted in the research, Anne Arundel County Department of Health guidance, along with all that we have learned over the past year during virtual learning, we have planned for a healthy student-centered, 2021-2022 school year.

Below you will find information and resources for families and employees as you prepare for the new school year and as we navigate the waters together throughout this school year. Included is information related to health and safety, back-to-school needs, student learning and bus schedules, and school system updates.

NOTE:  We remain committed to teaching students in our schools for the entire 2021-2022 school year.  Should we need to have a classroom, grade level, team, or school move to virtual learning for a short period of time due to COVID-positive numbers of students and staff, we will post resources for families on this website.
