Strategic Plan Indicators
-
After each school leadership team reflected on its school culture, community, and the key contributing factors to student growth, they used this information to select the Strategic Plan Indicators that would have the greatest positive impact for their students. Each school was directed to select two to six indicators on which to focus during the 2018-19 school year. Certainly, we all know that if we focus narrowly and deeply, we are more likely to realize positive results. The indicators that this school’s leadership team selected are noted below.

Strategic Journey
-
Throughout the next 3 years, schools will focus on their chosen Strategic Plan Indicators as the drivers to increase student engagement and achievement within their schools. They will choose strategies to help them grow or increase within each indicator and will monitor and evaluate the student and school changes that take place along the journey. Below you will see what this school imagines their students and school to look like in 2021 after having focused and worked on their chosen indicators for three years.
Our Vision of Success: 2021
-
One of our intentional foci is conveying the highest care, compassion and support to each and every student. This includes greeting them each morning, at every class change and providing support through our Mustang PRIDE period every day. Beginning with the first day of school, our goal has been built around establishing positive relationships with our students. Our counseling and student services team have created lessons which are delivered throughout the year and they have established structures and processes to ensure they maintain contact with students on their caseloads.
------------------------------------
Students will see and feel an entire adult community committed to supporting them. Every student will be able to articulate the names of adults they can go to if they need support in any way. Through conversation and survey, students will say, "The adults at Meade High School care about them.
-------------------------------------
Adults will be proud to say they serve at Meade High School. They will be able to speak directly about specific students they have mentored and supported to help them achieve their goals. Adults will know they have contributed to creating a positive school culture and climate.

The Meade STABLE program will continue to support our most vulnerable 9th grade students. Additional structures and supports using data driven processes will ensure all 9th grade students are supported in such a way they successfully matriculate to the 10th grade. This support will include academic, psycho-social, and emotional well-being for every student.
--------------------------------------
Students will say they have never felt such a level of support. They will articulate the staff cares so much about them that they will not give up on any student.
---------------------------------------
Adults will see the results of their relentless support for every student. They will see the reinforcement of the dedication and commitment we have worked toward over the past several years. They will be reinvigorated as they see positive results of their work.
