Monthly Spotlight - Go Gold Challenge Wrap Up

Go Gold Closing Ceremony
Thanks to everyone who participated in the Go Gold Wellness Challenge. Below are some statistics from the challenge.
- There were 934 participants; 635 participants on teams
- We logged a total of 212,536,476 steps
- We achieved 11,141 Gold medals, 2,400 Silver medals, and 2,602 Bronze medals.
Congratulations to the following schools who finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Bates Middle School - Gold Medal Team - 18,729 steps
Shady Side Elementary - Silver Medal Team - 17,672 steps
Richard Henry Lee Elementary - Bronze Medal Team - 14,176 steps
Prizes were awarded to the winning teams and to many other participants.

These are seven-week sessions and free smoking cessation medication is dispensed.Coaching is also available through BHS, AACPS Employee Assistance Program.
