Bilingual Family & Community Outreach Facilitators provide outstanding support and services to our schools and international families. We:
- Ensure all families feel welcome in our schools.
- Assist with Registration and Transfers.
- Explain to families all about school programs, policies, and procedures.
- Assist during emergency situations including homelessness and child abuse.
- Translate school-based documents.
- Interpret during Parent-Teacher Conferences.
- Conduct Parent Workshops.
- Participate in community outreach.
The Bilingual Facilitator assignments are currently being updated for the 2024-2025 school year; please contact Karen McDonough at kmcdonough@aacps.org for support in the interim.
