• STEM middle school - STEM clubs & co-curricular offerings

    Central Middle Clubs & Activities - Central Middle School has a variety of STEM and liberal arts clubs and co-curriculars available to all students.  STEM students are required to participate in a club for at least a semester each academic school year during middle school. 

    • Many clubs offer student involvement in contests and competitions.  Currently, STEM students participate in TSA -Technology Student Association state and national competitions in the fields of Biomedical Technology, Medical Technology, Engineering, Vex Robotics, and Problem Solving.  Clubs also support student participation in competitions such as the Science Olympiad, International Science Bee, SeaPerch, Sea Glide, Robotics, MESA,  and Python computer coding competitions.  Teachers and parent mentors have supported students to reach success.  Many students have won awards and certificates at regional and state levels as well as at national competitions in a variety of STEM fields.

    National TSA Competition:  Central Middle School TSA Team for Problem Solving took First Place in their category at the Regional, State, and  National Competitions!
