Print Media Technology
Program Description
Students will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the printing process including digital printing, digital file management, offset lithography, binding, finishing, and production planning. Students will learn to use iMac computers, Adobe Suite, the computer to plate system, printing presses, and bindery equipment. Students will develop an understanding of inventory and cost control, electronic prepress and employment responsibilities. Career opportunities include pressman or bindery operator, prepress technician, production planning, purchasing, and customer service.
