Project Lead the Way (PLTW)—Pre-Engineering
Program Description
Project Lead the Way (PLTW) is a CTE instructional program that incorporates the national standards of The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the National Science Standards, and the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association. The program prepares students for further education and careers in engineering and engineering technology. The list of courses provided meets the criteria of the Project Lead the Way Program. Specialty courses are selected by the school and not all courses listed are offered at every PLTW school.
